Somebody Feed Phil Season 6 Coming Back Officially, John Bedolis Revealed Storyline!

Season 4 of Philip Rosenthal’s tremendously fun food and travel series, Somebody Feed Phil, premiered on Netflix a year ago. Fans weren’t certain to see more of the series, which follows Rosenthal as he travels to different locations to learn about diverse cultures and cuisines.

Phil Rosenthal, the creator of “Everybody Loves Raymond,” travels the world to sample the cuisine and culture of Bangkok, Lisbon, Mexico City, and other cities.

Fortunately for all of us, this was not the case. Season 5 will premiere on Netflix on May 25 in all its culinary magnificence. Oaxaca, Helsinki, Madrid, and two very different versions of Portland are among the five new destinations included in the new season (Maine and Oregon).

Saigon 56m Pho and banh mi are the perfect start to a delicious journey to Saigon. Phil gets up early in the morning to gather lotus stems and learns how to make authentic Vietnamese coffee.

As you may recall, Somebody Feed Phil is the outgrowth of a PBS series initially titled I’ll Have What Phil’s Having. The original is exactly as delightful and enjoyable as the Netflix adaptation.

Season 6 of Someone Feed Phil will premiere later this year.

But there’s more good news in store for fans of Somebody Feed Phil. Variety reports that the series has already been renewed for a sixth season, ahead of its Season 5 launch. The streamer is aiming for an autumn premiere next season, according to Rosenthal, but nothing has been confirmed.

Seasons 5 and 6 were filmed back to back, thus the chances of missing the five episodes that makeup Season 6 were limited to none. The 10 episodes were shot during gaps in the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Rosenthal, who also executive produces the show.

“In the perfect region between Delta and Omicron, we shot ten episodes.” Do you recall? So we pretty much-filmed everything from August to January. Because of Omicron, we only had to postpone one location, but we exchanged it for another in the United States. And we’ll eventually return to [that other spot].”

On May 25, all five episodes of Season 5 as well as the previous four seasons will be accessible to view. And, as we have stated, if you have never watched the series, you owe it to yourself to do so. Somebody Feed Phil is one of the rare shows that will make you laugh.
