Women ARRESTED in DALLAS Attempting to KILL Deadly Auto Wash Shoot-out

A 41-year-old woman was detained early Saturday morning on suspicion of fatally shooting a 45-year-old man at a Dallas car wash.

Officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Elsie Fay Higgins Street shortly after 2 a.m. for a gunshot.

Eric Barber was found with a gunshot wound by responding authorities. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and later pronounced dead.

Barber and a woman later identified as Shamkea Khalid got into a confrontation outside the South Dallas car wash, according to investigators.

Khalid allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Barber at some point.

Khalid and her vehicle were described by witnesses and were found in the 4700 block of Meadow Street by police.

Khalid was then apprehended for the murder of Barber.
