The Alexei Navalny doc is set to debut on CNN and CNN+ after an exclusive release in more than 800 theaters.
CNN has announced the premiere date for Daniel Roher’s Navalny, a feature documentary about Russian dissident Alexei Navalny and fellow investigators trying to unmask security agents who allegedly poisoned him in 2020. The film will air on April 24th at 9 pm EST/6 pm PST

Navalny’s doc will be shown on CNN+ in the US and Canada, with a special premiere event planned for North America. The film is set to bow this week following its release earlier next month at select theaters around Europe that are backed by Fathom WMG Mayhem Pictures releases – an agreement made between two companies who have committed together towards marketing initiatives targeting specific demographics or revenue streams within their target markets
