Last Thursday Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a planned military invasion in Ukraine with explosions heard across the country. Russia has officially attacked Ukraine which could be the start of the next World War 3. Russia has shown aggression towards Ukraine to fulfill its demand of not giving Ukraine the membership of NATO. Russia has launched a full-scale invasion in Kremlin that killed 130 Ukrainians the first day.
Friday Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the leaders of the NATO countries by saying,
“Who is ready to fight alongside us? I don’t see anyone. Who is ready to give Ukraine a guarantee of NATO membership? Everyone is afraid.”
As per Ndtv report, 316 Ukrainians are wounded due to the invasion by Russia.
President Zelensky also said, ” we are left alone to defend our state”. He also declared that his family and he would not leave the country. He assured the country’s citizens that despite the fake news of his leaving, he and his family will stay with Ukraine in its crisis. He said that his family and he are citizens of Ukraine so they will remain in Kyiv despite the life thread. Today Russia has planned to attack Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital. He urged the citizens of Kyiv to stay vigilant and observe the curfew. Few Russian sabotage groups have already entered Kyiv.
Despite NATO’S full support of Ukraine NATO has confirmed that it will not send any military help to Ukraine. U.S.A President Jo Biden has also confirmed that they will not send any military help to Ukraine. Though U.S.A and NATO have condemned and sanctioned Russia. But many experts believe that this is not enough. Many U.S.A ex-military officers urged Biden Government to send weapons and military help to Ukraine. They claimed that the Ukraine army is not strong enough to defend Russia so they should send troops. Despite this, Biden said,
“Our forces are not and will not get engaged in the conflict with Russia in Ukraine.”
He also said, ” Our force will not go to Europe to fight in Ukraine, but to defend our NATO allies.”
As Ukraine is not a part of NATO, President Zelensky praised the army by saying,” Today Russia attacked our entire territory of our state. And today our defenders have done a lot. They defended the entire territory of Ukraine, which suffered a direct blow.”
He also claimed that despite so many assurances from NATO and Ukraine Ukraine is not getting any help. He has talked with leaders of so many countries.
Many western countries have restricted weapon sending to Russia.
Zelensky also said that he has asked 27 countries if Ukraine can join NATO but no leader answered, Every country is afraid of Russia. He urged the citizens to prepare themselves to protect the Nation. He said that the fate of Ukraine is now dependent upon its defenders.
He also said that” According to the information I and my family is enemy’s no.1 target right now They want to damage Ukraine politically by destroying the head of state”.
Zelensky also addressed the dead defenders in his speech, he said,
” Defending the Zminyi island, all our border guards died a heroic death. But they have not surrendered. They will be awarded posthumously the title of the Hero of Ukraine. Let those lives for Ukraine be remembered forever.”
However, let’s see if NATO and U.S.A change their mind
