BTS Permission to Dance on Stage Sets Another Record

BTS Permission to dance sets another record on stage as the Inglewood Stadium, California experiences mind-blowing sales of tickets on 28th November. The SoFi Stadium was opened up in 2020 in Inglewood, California. The SoFi stadium is mainly used as a homestand for two American football teams, although it can hold between 70,000 and 100,000 people for large-scale performances or events.

Christy Castillo Butcher, the SoFi Stadium’s senior vice president of programming and booking, announced on November 28th that “BTS is the first artist in the history of the SoFi Stadium to sell out all four events.” “Among bands or musicians who performed at the stadium, this performance has achieved the biggest ticket sales,” he concluded.

Ed Sheeran co-wrote Permission To Dance with Steve Mac, Johnny McDaid, and Jenna Andrews, who previously worked with BTS on Dynamite and Butter. Apart from busting some hip movements, the septet imagines the end of the epidemic in Permission To Dance. “Wrote this song a while back and so glad it’s being heard on such a global scale and being performed by such wonderful individuals,” Ed Sheeran had previously commented on social media. After ‘Make It Right,’ this is his second collaboration with the band. “I’ve actually worked with BTS on their last record, and I’ve just written a song for their upcoming record,” Ed said in an interview with the American radio show Most Requested Live. They’re also like super, really cool dudes.”

BTS is on a roll right now, with Permission To Dance, Butter, and their fashion runway debut all topping the Hot 100 for six weeks. ARMY, the global fan base of a South Korean band, is growing by the minute.

BTS’ RM talked up about the fans’ affection in an interview with Jaeki Cho for Amazon Music. “Everyone wonders why we have such a diverse fanbase. You can’t find out while you’re in the middle of a hurricane. We’ll find out after the hurricane passes.”
