Samsung’s next flagship is to be released early next year. Up until now, we’ve learnt a lot about the Galaxy S10. Samsung as always has decided to go all out for innovation and has promised to bring change to notch city. The S10 will consist of a small hole for the front-facing camera while ditching the notch completely and packing all the useful sensors under the display. The antutu benchmarks revealed the internals of the phone and we managed to calculate the screen resolution but the display innovation is why we’re here.
The A8s is expected to release this month and it will be the first to rock an “Infinity-O” display. The S10 as leaks suggest will be shipping in three variants this time around instead of two and the high-end version is to be shipped with dual front-facing cameras. The design leaked, however, may not please enthusiasts. According to the leaked renders by folks over at 91mobile, the Galaxy S10+ will have the dual cameras in the top right corner almost giving iPod vibes. The iPod 5th generation had these antenna bands at the back which surprisingly look similar to the renders.
One big change we notice is that the side bezel of the device is now bigger than what it used to be last year. The side bezels now seem to be over 1.5 mm thicker to provide a seamless design to users. Hardcore tech enthusiasts may not like the sound of this but in general, these bezels will provide a holding grip and will substantially improve the durability if the phone were to fall. The S10+ also features 3x rear facing cameras with all neat features similar to what we have going on with the Galaxy A series. With 5G being the norm of 2019 we expect the S10 to perform exceptionally well thanks to its early release and the new 5G chip.
