What’s impressive yet unsurprising regarding the games above is the fact is how well the Call Of Duty franchise has played out throughout the years. Since the launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 back in 2009, the folks over at Infinity Ward finally had the snowball rolling. Since 2009, the COD franchise has pretty much been the best-seller every year until GTA V onto the scene in 2013 launching on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

There’s no doubt that the GTA franchise is without a doubt the king when it comes to sales numbers, especially considering that the team behind the game have been some of the very best developers in the scene. Rockstar has definitely pioneered some of the very best games in the industry and we’d give out our mad props out to them. If you’ve been out of touch, the recently announced Red Dead Redemption 2 should be a great example of why the developers have outperformed the competition.

While GTA VI certainly seems to be out of the question, we’re definitely expecting to see a ton lot from the developers at Rockstar Games. However, given that GTA V is showing no signs of dying due to the hoard of DLCs constantly feeding the game, it seems like Rockstar would rather not hurry with GTA VI.
