Intel’s next-gen lineup, the 9000 series of CPUs are in the works. After several months of anticipation and leaks, it seems like the final drops are making their way online. B&H a popular retailer cemented in the North American region has just announced some massive news regarding Intel’s new lineup of CPUs, namely, the Intel Core i5-9600K, i7-9700K & i9-9900K. All three of these unannounced CPUs are now up for pre-order through B&H’s website, although it seems like the listing may have gone live mistakenly as there are no images attached to the listings.
Thanks to the listing, we now finally have pretty solid information of how Intel’s new lineup of overclockable CPUs look like and how these CPUs are likely to be priced in the US and other North American regions. Here are the pricing and details regarding the three CPUs sourced from the listings.

What’s disappointing and has been revealed by rumors long ago is the fact that the new i7-9700K no longer features hyperthreading and is a general refresh over last year’s Core i7-8700K that features 6 cores and 12 threads rather than 8 cores and 8 threads on the i7-9700K. As expected, these CPUs are set to replace their current-gen counterparts, the i5-8600k, i7-8700k and, i9-9900k with the typical Intel pricing flair on top of it. Given how the prices for the existing Core i7-8700k is increasing every day, it seems like the choice between the two CPUs would have to be determined by reviewers as they put of these CPUs to the test to find out which CPU is faster and better for buck.
Alternatively, if these CPU prices are getting out of hand, AMD’s existing lineup of 2nd-gen Ryzen CPUs seem to be a great option too if you want something that performs almost as well as Intel’s Core i7 lineup.
What we didn’t find from the B&H listing is when these CPUs are set to be released. However, given that online retails have had a shady past of leaking tech before they’re released, these listings should be taken down pretty soon. For now, this is all the information we were able to gather from the B&H listings that didn’t reveal anything surprising.
