OnePlus has had quite a strong record of updating their flagships. Despite being on the budget spectrum of the market, OnePlus has prided itself for its fast updates to its stock Android experience.
Recently, OnePlus announced that the OnePlus 3 and 3T are about to get the Android P update. This new update, along with the Android OS, will upgrade OnePlus’s Oxygen OS to version 5.0.4. This new update is expected to bring a few camera improvements along with all of the new improvements that are present in the Android P update.
Given that OnePlus should be given credit for the new update, the 3 and the 3T won’t receive the update until the 6, 5 and 5T are done with their updates. So yeah, you might have to wait for a while before you get the update if you’re using the 3 or the 3T. If you’re using the 5, 5T or even the OnePlus 6, the update is about to land soon. Hang tight!
