Huawei has just unveiled their Huawei Mate 10 Pro. After the slew of rumors Evan Blass was working on, the rumors and images leaked were true.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has come with its brothers as well, but for now, the star of Huawei’s show is the Mate 10 Pro that wants to take on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is no slouch when it comes to horsepower, design or even features. Being Huawei’s first device to sport a dedicated AI processor within the phone, Huawei aims to set new standards for AI. Huawei’s Mate 10 comes with a lot of what consumers desire for. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro brings Leica’s partnership yet another step further and also brings the second generation of Huawei’s Porsche inspired design Mate 10 Pro after the Mate 9.
With a 6-inch display and keeping up with the bezel-less trend of 2017, the Huawei Mate 10 simply kills a ton of the large screen competition from a number of manufacturers, or does it? The biggest competitor to the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the iPhone X, a rivalry they put up for themselves after they mocked the iPhone X last month. However, Huawei’s display might look a bit weak due to its pixel count. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro comes with a 2160 x 1080 display compared to the Note 8’s 2960 x 1440 display.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro camera sensors come with OIS. However, they do lack 60 FPS video recording at 4K which is what the Note 8 introduced. Since the phone wants to take the AI experience to the next level, the integration of AI also finds its way into the camera identifying object excellently and with excellent precision. The Mate 10 Pro does not come with Wireless Charging. However, it is accompanied a large 4000mAh battery, which is way higher than what you would find on the Note 8 and the iPhones of 2017. Huawei has announced that the first batch of the Mate 10 Pro will be arriving in Asian countries and the Mate 10 Pro will be a only variant coming to the US. Pricing is pretty high showing off that Huawei is not afraid of asking Note 8 prices. Let’s see how well it performs afterall.
