Sony has been going ham with their flagship lineup of smartphones. With Sony continuously being pushed back by companies like Samsung and Apple, the company has radically started to slip into the mid-range market with some some hope of keeping its head above the water.
Recently, four mysterious Sony devices have shown up in Sony’s UAProf XML files that indicate quite a bit of what Sony could be working on. While these files haven’t revealed much, there’s a sea of hardware that Sony will pack into these phones. Whatever the CPU may be might most probably be a mid-range SoC from Qualcomm or Mediatek. However, Sony did the unpredictable with the XZ1 compact afterall. With Sony’s flagships finally out in the market, these could most probably be Sony’s mid-range devices. The model numbers that have made their way onto Sony’s UAProf site are H3321, H4311, H3113 and the H4113.
Taking a look at the first model number, here’s what the UAProf files reveal about the hardware Sony will pack into these phones. The H3321 will run on Android 7.1.1 and pack a 720p display. Meanwhile, the second device will also pack the same internals. The H3113 and H4113 although do show an upgrade to the display of the phone with the phone packing a 1920 x 1080 display running on Android 8.0 Oreo. They seem to be two identical models. However, they have been branched out into four variants, it may be their display sizes. Whatever it may be, there’s a high possibility of these devices actually hitting the market. At least it runs Android 8.0
