World’s First SDXC 1TB Memory Card Officially Unveiled by SanDisk

1TB Memory Card

SanDisk has announced their new 1TB SDXC memory card. This is absolutely amazing for folks who’re into photography or videography. Many people now have cameras that can shoot up to 8K video but those cameras demand a high amount of memory to store all those pixels. So, if you have something like this in there, you won’t need to worry about running out of memory space.

“Sixteen years ago we introduced the first SanDisk 64MB SD card and today we are enabling capacities of 1TB. Over the years our goal has remained the same; continue to innovate and set the pace for the imaging industry.”
– Dinesh Bahal, VP at Western Digital.

At Photokina 2014, SanDisk showed their 512GB memory card and now, they’ve doubled that capacity. The SanDisk 1TB SDXC memory card will be available soon.
