Are You Ready to Experience the Thrill of Metroid Prime Remastered? The Physical Version is Out Now in the Us – Don’t Miss Your Chance for a Truly Immersive Gaming Experience!

Gamers looking to buy physical copies of Metroid Prime Remastered have been receiving difficulty finding the game at merchants. Metroid Prime Remastered was one of the biggest tourist attractions of the recent Nintendo Direct with its surprise digital announcement on Nintendo Switch plus the reveal that it would be getting a material release.

Metroid Prime remained one of GameCube’s defining titles and its legacy remained strong over 20 years later. Fans of the sequence were excited when the game was announced to be remastered for Nintendo Switch in equally digital and physical versions, the last of which was shadow-dropped. The physical version of Metroid Prime Remastered was revealed to be released on February 22 in North America. Physical pre-orders for Metroid Prime Remastered went out quickly which made things hard for those who prefer to own boxed books of their games.

This release day was regrettably dampened as gamers ran to local and online merchants today only to be met with shelves and pages asking them if it was out of stock. Some of those who obtained pre-orders the day of the announcement of Metroid Prime Remastered were not secure from these supply issues either, as one or two pre-orders have been delayed by some weeks. Although the digital version of the match has been available since February 8, many stayed to get the game physically but may end up having to wait slower due to these supply issues.

Metroid Prime Remastered was open on Nintendo’s website at one point but is being bought out at the time of writing. The game has come to be popular with scalpers who have started struggling to sell the game at exorbitant prices. A similar condition happened with other scarce Nintendo foodstuffs such as amiibo, special edition versions of the Nintendo Switch, the NES and SNES Classic Editions, and perchance most notoriously, Super Mario 3D All-Stars which was recorded on eBay for thousands of dollars mere days after life delisted on the eShop.

Although Nintendo goods being hard to find is nothing new, this lack of Metroid Prime Remastered is expected to be disappointing for fans. It is unclear how long it will get for Metroid Prime Remastered to be refilled, but with rumors of Metroid Prime 2 and 3 coming to Switch, Nintendo will positively have enough physical copies of those titles made on launch.
