American television personality, rapper, and singer Chelsea Chanel Dudley, better known by her stage name Chanel West Coast, was born on September 1, 1988.
Early life
Los Angeles, California, is where Chanel was born. Growing up, she invested her energy living between North Hollywood with her mom (“Penny Porsche”) and New York City with her dad, Jamie Dudley, a DJ in New York City, who accepted Chanel to clubs as a youngster.
Chanel started taking dance and singing lessons when she was young. She started listening to rap music when she was 11 years old and started rapping when she was 14, citing Tupac Shakur’s “How Do U Want It” as the song that inspired her to start rapping.
Chanel attended Taft High School in Woodland Hills for two years before homeschooling until she graduated. Her father is of Russian-Jewish descent.
Television career
In 2008, mutual friends introduced Chanel to television personality Rob Dyrdek. Shortly thereafter, Dyrdek offered Chanel a position as his receptionist on the MTV reality series Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory.MTV later renewed the show for a second season.
The series’ third and fourth seasons The fourth season premiered in 2011. Chanel made her acting debut that year by playing Sheila in an episode of the MTV series The Hard Times of RJ Berger.
She went on to become one of the main cast members of the television series Ridiculousness. In this show, West Coast, Dyrdek, and Sterling “Steelo” Brim review online videos.
Chanel made guest appearances in the second season of Ridiculousness and the fifth season of Fantasy Factory in 2012.
She began performing as Flipz in the Wild Grinders animated series in the same year. She also made an appearance in the third season of Ridiculousness in 2013, so West Coast continued to voice the character into that year.
In 2013, the sixth season of Fantasy Factory was revealed, and on January 2, 2014, the fourth season of Ridiculousness debuted.
In 2017, Chanel joined the Love & Hip Hop supporting cast: Hollywood for the fourth season and appeared ten times. She did, however, not appear in the reunion special for season four that followed.

Chanel West Coast has been on Ridiculousness for a long time and is currently single and ready to date, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t had her fair share of relationships in the past. In fact, over the course of her life, Chanel has been in two public relationships. First, she had an affair with Scottish singer Liam Horne, then with rapper Solo Lucci.

From April 2014 to July 2017, Chanel and Liam were together. Throughout their three-year relationship, the couple frequently engaged in passionate liaisons at red-carpet events and praised one another on social media.
