Colin Kaepernick a very famous football player born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Before Colin was born his dad already left the family and get separated from them.

His mother Heidi raised him along with his older brothers. After completing his school studies, Colin began his football career as a quarterback for the University of Nevada, Reno.Kaepernick began his football career as a quarterback for the University of Nevada, Reno.

His mother done a lot hardwork for raising the children and even work as a bartender for boys future.Heidi instilled a strong work ethic in her sons. When Colin was eight years old, he began working odd jobs to help contribute to the family income.

He would mow lawns and wash cars. When he was old enough, he got a job bagsging groceries at a local grocery store.Kaepernick excelled at sports from an early age. He played quarterback for his high school football team and was voted All-District and All-City.

He also played basketball and baseball. In 2006, he was named Gatorade Player of the Year for California after leading his team to the state championship game.

The following season, he helped the 49ers reach the NFC Championship game.In 2016, Kaepernick drew national attention when he began sitting or kneeling during the pre-game playing of “The Star-Spangled Banner” in protest of police brutality and racial inequality.

He started all four years for the Wolf Pack and set numerous school records.As a professional player, Kaepernick has achieved many successes.In the year 2017 he also received W.E.B. Du Bois Medal which was provided by Harvard University for his revolutionary actions.
