George Stone III, often known as EST Gee, was born in Missouri, USA, on May 11, 1994. His parents, George Stone and Shiela Stone raised him and his two siblings, Keron Britt and Keona Curtis, in Louisville.

Rapper Est Gee gained notoriety in the sporting world long before he did so in the music business. George Stone III, commonly known as EST Gee, attended the all-boys private Catholic Saint Xavier High School, where he was a first-team all-state athlete.
EST Gee concluded his high school career as the best linebacker in the state of Kentucky with 98 solo tackles and 5 forced fumbles. He received letters in basketball, football, and track as well. According to The Undefeated, EST Gee eventually obtained a scholarship to attend Indiana State University, where he spent two years. After that, he transferred to Sacramento City College for one season before spending his last two seasons of college there. He had a storied football career that was even going to lead to a profession.
George became more proficient at writing and creating music as time went on. He released his debut song, “Stains,” in 2017 when he was still trying to get on the roster of the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers. After being released from the preseason shortly after, he decided to follow his second passion of being a musician. As a result, he changed his identity to EST Gee (Everybody Shine Together), where Gee is short for George.
EST Gee was later signed to CMG early in 2021 and received a $750,000 cash advance. He did this with a new flow, the numerous mixtapes he released, and the collaborations he had with other artists.
