The indie superhero film series Surge of Power is made by Surge of Power Enterprises, Doctor Who Tribute LLC, which is happy to announce that the short film Surge of Power Doctor Who Tribute is now available to view for free on Vimeo. This film is a parody honouring more than 50 years of the popular Doctor Who television series.
It makes light fun of some of the show’s most endearing tropes and features cameos from more than 30 Doctor Who actors who portray every era of The Doctor from 1963 to 2022. In this adventure that pays homage to Doctor Who, the title superhero, Surge, was assisted by these performers with the use of their unique skills and sense of humour.
The late Nichelle Nichols, who played the iconic Lieutenant Uhura from the original Star Trek, makes a special appearance in the film as Omen, the enigmatic sage who continues to appear in Surge of Power superhero films.
The world’s longest-running science fiction programme is Doctor Who. With the late William Hartnell playing the titular role, it debuted on television on November 23, 1963. The Doctor, who is the title character, has been performed by numerous performers over the years. This well-liked British television programme has been on the air for 59 years today. One of the most well-known BBC programmes, it is still in production today.
Vincent J. Roth, the Executive Producer for Surge of Power Enterprises, explained that since the most recent season of Doctor Who ended last month and the show isn’t scheduled to return until November of next year, the company decided to release its Doctor Who tribute film now to give fans something to watch in the interim. As a gift to the fanbase, we are providing a free download of the movie.

The Stuff of Heroes debuted in 2004 and was published in 2006. The surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel, the second full-length movie, premiered in 2016, went on to win four accolades at film festivals and was then released in 2018. Next is the short film Surge of Dawn, which is currently playing and won Best Visual Effects at the HBO Urban Action Showcase.
Crossover with web series
It is a crossover with the acclaimed web series DAWN by Pajarito Productions. The business has just released its third film, Doctor Who Tribute, a fan-made homage to the well-known British programme that grew out of the business’ web series Surge of Power Big City Chronicles.
The ongoing web series Big City Chronicles, which is about to start its sixth season, its Code of Heroes chapters, and the planned new film Where There’s Smoke all feature the continuing exploits of Surge and other heroes.
