Recently released in Japan, and North and South America, PlayStation Star offers a tiered structure that players can advance by buying games and collecting Trophies. Unpopularly, the top tier accords members significant priority when it comes to customer support, which disappointed Japanese players after PS Stars was introduced in their country.
In 2023, the PS5 will have a range of thrilling games, including Resident Evil 4 remake, Street Fighter 6, and Final Fantasy 16. To persuade even more people to sign up for the program, it will be interesting to watch if Sony develops and advertises PlayStation Stars campaigns alongside the incoming lineup of PS5 games.
