Here is a List of the Dragon Ball Z Game’s Tiers

Possibly the most well-known manga and anime franchise of all time is Dragon Ball Z. It also lends itself extraordinarily well to video game adaptation thanks to its ensemble of endearing characters and nonstop action. Since the original game, Dragon Ball Z: Assault!, Dragon Ball Z has given rise to well over a hundred different games. In 1990, Saiyans for the Super Famicom was released in Japan.

Dragon Ball Z has been reinterpreted through a variety of different genres, appearing in RPG form, as a digital collectible card game, and even as a standard rail shooter, even though the property has settled most easily into fighting games. The Dragon Ball brand is reverting to its tried-and-true format with the upcoming next-gen release of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but fans can wiggle their toes into a more unusual release with Dragon Ball: The Breakers, which is due out later this month.

S-Tier

Although it may be argued that Tenkaichi 3 bit off more than it could chew, the game nonetheless deserves a lot of praise for its sheer ambition. It included a sizable cast of Dragon Ball Z characters, including some of the undervalued ones, and free-roaming mechanics that made battles feel more like episodes of the show than any other game before or after.

Dragon Ball FighterZ: Since the franchise’s first video game appearance, 2D fighting games have consistently offered the best translations, and Dragon Ball FighterZ integrates the best elements from all of its philosophical forefathers. Even without the incredible visuals, the gameplay in FighterZ is the smoothest and most refined the franchise has ever seen.

Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension is unquestionably the best Dragon Ball Z game on the SNES. A strategic fighting experience that was far superior to its competitors and is now recognized as one of the franchise’s best titles.

The sequel to Dragon Ball Z’s The Legacy of Goku Fans’ complaints about the first game was addressed by The Legacy of Goku 2 by introducing fresh intricacy to the franchise. It is located at the very top of the A-tier, just barely separating Buu’s Fury from the S-tier.

B-Tier

Parts 1 and 2 of Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast Except for being a little too straightforward, there’s nothing particularly wrong with the Raging Blast series, but it suffers from a lack of inventiveness once again. It seems like a modernized version of the near-perfect Budokai Tenkaichi series.

C-Tier

Although it used the same engine as Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and was published a year later, the quality of Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World was noticeably lower. Unlike Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Infinite World is another famous example of a redundant, monotonous game, hence it is unlikely to be included on any list of the top Dragon Ball Z games. Although it’s not an awful title, its lack of creativity keeps it in the C-tier.

D-Tier

Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout offered characters that North American fans had never seen before, but the gameplay itself was a clumsy jumble. Although it gave a glimpse into the fascinating yet divisive universe of Dragon Ball GT, it was almost impossible to play as a game.
