A highly skilled artist has created a Pokemon as well as a Super Monkey Ball collaboration. There’s been an abundant supply of Pokemon artwork making the rounds on many internet threads over the last month. October has been a busy time for creative Pokemon gamers, ranging from a biblically precise Golbat made by one fan to the Charizard carved from our of wood. This latest collaboration reunites two iconic gaming companies.
Super Monkey Ball has had several cooperation and collaboration with other gaming franchises, including the addition of specific skins. The most recent one came from Persona 5 with Aware of information, and characters from the Sonic franchise also have joined in on the fun. The now-popular series first aired in 2001.
It was ported to the Nintendo GameCube from its beginnings as an arcade headline known as Monkey Ball. During gameplay, players control a character in a gachaphon ball that contains their chosen character. The player must then race through the various stages as quickly as possible.
`rc1246, a Reddit user and great artist, has created a work titled “Super Meditite Ball.” Inside the universe of Super Monkey Ball, the picture depicts the spiritual fighting Pokemon within the iconic gachaphon ball.
Meditate replaces the franchise’s mascot, AiAi, and the two are eerily similar in appearance. Nanab Berries, which have also replaced the usual Bananas, are also part of this crossover. Every detail appears to have been considered to bring the above piece to life.
The artist recalled renting games such as Super Monkey Ball as just a child, remarking that it was a very much simpler and much more leisurely time. Someone else on Reddit seemed to accept the fan, saying it reminded them of their happy childhood memories.
According to the fan, Meditite was chosen because the design of this Pokemon did remind them of AiAi. Other gamers expressed their desire for Pokemon to be part of the Super Monkey Ball film series, while others stated that it inspired people to dust off one‘s GameCube but also play again. Another gamer created a creative Metroid-inspired Spooky piece, which has recently gained traction.
Although Super Monkey Ball has yet to have a Pokemon crossover, its mascot AiAi did appear in Fall Guys this past year during Season 5. With the impending release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Nintendo may finally work collaboratively and sent the Pokemon to this beloved title.
