Another Chance! For CD Projekt Red At A Ciri Cameo In The Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel

Crossovers are popular among gamers, and several rumors about Ciri’s potential participation in Cyberpunk 2077 circulated before the game’s release. In addition to the new Witcher tale, CD Projekt Red has revealed its future ambitions, which also include the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel and a brand-new IP with the working title Hadar.

One heavily requested feature, at least as it was desired by fans, was left out of Cyberpunk 2077’s first game. This can be corrected in the sequel.

An early Easter Egg in CyberPunk 2077 makes mention of Ciri from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The Witcher gameplay series was also created by CD Projekt Red, the team behind Cyberpunk 2077. It’s hardly surprising that creators would wish to honor Geralt of Rivia and his comrades given that The Witcher was CD Projekt Red’s maiden proprietary game.

Ciri In Cyberpunk?

Geralt of Rivia is the protagonist of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. A sterile mutant witcher who hunts monsters for a livelihood, Geralt is one of these. The main focus of The Witcher 3 is Geralt’s pursuit of Ciri, a princess who resembles a daughter to him. He kills everything in his path—from wraiths to werewolves—in an effort to catch up with her.

Not only was Ciri one of the key protagonists in The Witcher 3, but she also made mention of having been to the Nigh City in Cyberpunk 2077. Ciri will discuss her journeys across multiple realities in The Witcher 3. There were also no horses; instead, each person owned a flying ship of their own. Fans have pleaded with the filmmakers to include Ciri in Cyberpunk 2077 ever since they connected the dots. There is an Easter egg where she appears in a magazine, although it was basically unimportant. Fans desired material.

It’s great news that fans will have the opportunity to treat Ciri fairly in a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, in fact. Fans would be pleased if she had a significant role in the plot, but it’s unlikely; all it would take is a little side quest involving Ciri. Fans of CD Projekt Red would undoubtedly be excited to meet Ciri.

At least to a limited extent, Ciri may emerge in Cyberpunk 2077, which suggests that something greater could only call for more money.

This is imperative to emphasize that The Witcher and Cyberpunk are both licensed works, and while the studio undoubtedly has some creative freedom in developing its idea, this crossover probably faces more challenges than most people realize from the back end.

For us, it would be rather difficult to have an early opinion on all this. The key point is that people want to see Ciri in crossovers. There has already been some hinting about a Ciri crossover in Night City. The possibility exists for Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel, even though it didn’t occur to the extent that fans expected in the original game.

Release Date Of Cyberpunk Game

The release of Project Orion, the Cyberpunk sequel, has only recently been announced and is probably still a few years away. As a result, no release date has been announced.
