Iconic stages of the Super Smash Bros
Smash bros are one of the biggest fighting game franchises of the decade. Having its origin on Nintendo 64 ( link for all its franchise), this franchise has successfully featured everyone from Nintendo icons like Mario and Pikachu to legends and modern-day classics like sora.
Containing fantastic stages that grab people‘s attention on a large scale pay tribute to all the games that have collectively made Nintendo, what it is today. People seem to be obsessed with a few stages of Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros.
While deserving all the liking and obsession of their players, some of the stages have turned out to be what can be called as ‘the iconic stages’. these stages have a big hand in bringing this game to its best level.

The stages to be called the iconic stages are as follows:
Temple
Based on the palaces from the ‘adventure of link, first appearing in super smash bros. Melee; is one of the largest stages in the game. in the game, this stage is home to link, Zelda, Ganondorf, and an impromptu home stage for Roy and martin.
Its songs are a remixed version of the temple theme from the adventure of link, the fire emblem theme, and overworld them. Having a large size and perk for a high percentage of players to hide may excite people but at the same time, it has been banned from the tournaments of super smash bros for the same reason.
Fountain of dreams –
It is a starter stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee it is the first game where the fountain of dreams appears in. One of the most loved features of this stage is its soundtrack. It consists of a flat main platform with three overhanging soft platforms, all three of the same size, the stage resembles Battlefield in its layout.
One –
Mother franchise from Nintendo appears in this super smash bro stage. This stage is home to many Easter eggs, meteor crash site near the mountain site has made the people die-hard fans of the same.
Battlefield –
This stage epitomizes competitive smash making the player faces a lot of opponents. Inspired by its series, it is extremely common to competitive Melee and the players advocated it as the potential only legal stage.
It is introduced in the super smash bros. Brawl. This stage breaks the formula for standard platform layout by only including a single platform and by having it move back and forth. it has a memorable relaxing soundtrack.
Boxing ring –
As the name suggests, this stage is built for fighting and is in the game due to the arrival of little mac to the game. It is inside a large indoor stadium with a background filled with bright lights and actual fans in attendance are a cherry on top.
Final destination –
This stage is the most iconic and is home to ‘the final boss ‘. the stage is a serious play even for the casual player. The lack of space and platforms is one of the features of this stage has the final battles that make people go crazy for this stage and challenge them to take up the challenge to complete the stage.
Pirate ship –
It is a stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. based on Tetra’s pirate ship from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, but with many changes to facilitate Smash’s gameplay makes it is fascinating.
The main setup is a slightly curved main platform, representing the main deck, and two upper platforms, representing the mast of the ship. All fighters are on a cruising ship that slowly passes through the Great Sea. There exist risks beyond the inherent potential of drowning.
Wuhu island –
It is a stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The stage travels over Wuhu Island on red and blue platforms. The stage stops in multiple locations on the island. Wuhu Island consists of various landmarks like Frisbee Dog Park, Swaying Bridge, Rocks at sea, etc, which make up the separate parts of the stage.
Gamer –
This stage first appeared in the super smash bros. Wii U. It has its stage on 9 volts desk and changes each time the stage is played. This stage is a minigame in the Game and Wario.
