In its first weekend, the open beta remained PlayStation-exclusive but in an upcoming weekend, the barriers will break, with PC and Xbox players joining the fray. The wait has turned fruitful. Finally, the second weekend of Call on duty: modern warfare is live again.
This time it is available for all players on PS5 and PS4 plus the surprising amount to dive into is a cherry on the top. What surprises you more is that you don’t even need a PlayStation Plus subscription to play.
Last weekend’s beta was reserved exclusively for PlayStation Call of Duty players. This weekend’s beta will be opening up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s Multiplayer to fans on other platforms but with some restrictions though. How much would a restriction be is not clear till now but having access to such a platform subsides these restrictions when people see a weight heavier on the benefits side?
But as a player in seniority with proper gadgets, the perk for these players remains that they can now have access to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2‘s Multiplayer beta and have all pre-ordered the game, whether it’s on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. Starting Saturday, September 24, the beta will be fully open to players across all platforms regardless of pre-order status. The beta will then end Monday
Team Deathmatch, Domination, Prisoner Rescue, Knock Out, Search & Destroy Invasion, and 3rd Person Moshpit are the Seven different playlists that will be included in this weekend’s beta and10 unique items to unlock as you level up. Talking about the maps, this time players will be able to experience Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2‘s Farm 18, Mercado las Almas, Breenbergh Hotel, Valderas Museum, and both Serif Bay and Sa’id for Invasion.
The choice of maps isn’t bad either. The new maps for this weekend’s beta are the Valderas Museum map, as well as Invasion and its two maps. Well, this is the spotlight of the maps this time.
There still remains a possibility of opening up more playlists and maps this weekend. This weekend’s beta is robust, awesome, and a lot more exciting.
