The Trickster class appeared in Fire Emblem Awakening and recently returned in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Despite that, this class was stuck behind the Cindered Shadows DLC. Fortunately, for those who haven’t purchased Cindered Shadows, the Trickster class is available as a master class in Fire Emblem: Three Hopes. Rogues can use swords, bows, and even magic.
Like House of Three, it serves as the master class for the Thief Assassin class in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. Trickster isn’t DLC locked this time around, so building the perfect assassin unit is much easier. With its speed and agility, this unit can unleash the full potential of the Trickster class.
The best stats for cheats are speed, agility, and success. The potential to use magic means you can use your mind and beliefs that assassins and thieves cannot. If the three houses distinguish them with swords and bows, then three hops limit the crook’s best weapon to the sword.
This means they have a weapon advantage against axes, but a disadvantage against spears. Trickster’s class abilities are as follows. Lock touch: Cheats can open chests without a key. Crossing: Facilitates crossing. Lucky Seven: Defeating a commander increases a unit’s stats. Ax Buster Lv.4: Deals 95% damage to enemies holding an ax.
It varies from time to time: Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes – All Paralogues (and How to Unlock) Characters cannot master the Trickster class to learn both Locktouch and Lucky Seven. However, some can learn a miniature version of Ax Buster: Axebreaker that deals 50% damage instead of 95% with passes. Other units can learn Solitaire, which deals extra damage to stuns when units attack.
In addition, each critical hit has a surge of determination and courage that restores the Awakening and Warrior counters respectively. Forward Thinking will restore both Awakening and Warrior tools if a unit uses martial arts or magic. Dex +10, as the name suggests, adds +10 to a unit’s Dexterity Stat. Finally, medical expertise increases the effectiveness of healing items (wounds, concoctions, elixirs) by 50%.
To unlock the Trickster Class, units will need to master these Classes:
- Myrmidon (Beginner Class)
- Thief (Intermediate Class)
- Assassin (Advanced Class)
