Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – Fans Are Demanding to Bring Back ‘the Estate Multiplayer Map’, Release Date, Cast, and Much More

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 enthusiasts have been asking a lot since the game’s release. Players are sharing their desire for the reappearance of classic weapons from the original MW2, as well as submitting requests for mods and maps. However, there is one particular card that deserves a return: Farm.

When gamers think of 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, many previous maps come to mind. Places like Rust, Terminal, and Highrise are so iconic that players with fond memories remember all of these maps. However, with Highrise confirmed for the new Modern Warfare 2 and Terminal and Rust being remade in other games, it would be great to see more new remakes. Besides being a new candidate for real estate restoration, there are a few other reasons to revisit it.

Real Estate is ‘perfect’ for Modern Warfare 2 gameplay

The original Modern Warfare 2 estate map was a great solo match venue, but not a great playground for casual multiplayer. Weird placement around a building means weird spawns and weird flows, and these glitches can be fixed by tweaking the 6v6 map a bit, but it shines in both real-world game modes.

The first way real estate makes sense is in combat. Players can fight in the main building. Players can randomly spawn upstairs, mezzanines, or basements, so accessing each room can turn it into an exciting 2v2 arena. Since enemies can be lurking everywhere, this becomes an intense arena where short quarter battles predominate. The concept of a shootout map with a big house is interesting and a nice change from the shootout maps released so far.

It’s also worth checking out exploits against short attackers. Defender mode may or may not appear. In this mode, which should be played like Rainbow Six Siege, players surround an area, choose a role, and use a respawn system. Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer doesn’t include destruction, but leaks can enhance the environment, so the point is lost and the siege vibes are imperceptible. But if you need a map like Siege for Infinity Ward, Estate is a viable option. Attackers can spawn outside the house and defenders must have a visible building.

With Ghost playing an important role in Modern Warfare 2, the campaign to reclaim this place will be interesting. If players see this mode in a single player, their hearts will immediately tighten because they fear history repeating itself.

This time, however, General Shepard was unable to betray the Ghost, or the Ghost could have detected the betrayal and stopped it before it happened. Bringing back traits throughout the story to subvert expectations would be a fun twist and allow for a neat nod to Infinity Ward telling a new story. It will return later this year with a map that easily fits into multiplayer and single-player modes.
