GOOGLE MEET :
Video-communication service developed by Google with 100 million users a day accessing the updated version, compared to 200 million daily users for Zoom as of the last week of April 2020.
Google linked to the latest version and introduced the features including viewing attendees and chatting. Features such as the chatbox were changed to overlay the video feeds scheduled for operation Google suspended its usual 60-minute limit for unpaid accounts. Some features include:
- Low-light mode for video
- Call encryption between all users
- Two-way and multi-way audio and video calls with a resolution of up to 720p
- Ability to raise and lower hand
The upcoming feature was spotted by 9to5 Google about APK of both Duo and Gmail with a new “stereo separation”. The meeting will make it easier to identify who is currently speaking depending on their position on your screen with the match of visual positioning of participants.
Google is on the way to updating the existing Duo Android app to become evident in the future linking by joining Meet links and codes. The strings have linked signals to switch from end-to-end encryption.
This will make it easier to identify the speaking authority in a larger meeting with stereo separation potentially making group calls more efficient. Google sessions are organized using links rather than entering a meeting code manually to significantly communicate with the meeting’s host and verify the code.
The app allows users to join pre-scheduled meetings from calendar events, choose a link, enter a meeting code and even dial in from their phones if the invitation includes a phone number with G Suite versions of Google Calendar and Gmail and shows the complete list of participants and scheduled meetings. Annotate is a Chrome extension that lets you draw on your screen during a Google call.
Google exported Series One, in partnership with Lenovo, includes a Compute System with Edge TPU, “Smart Camera”, “Smart Audio Bar” with noise reduction, and a choice of remote control or touchscreen that supports the Google Assistant in 2020 for the transformation and update the version.
