Boruto: Naruto Next Generation series was released on 5th April 2017. It is a popular anime that is a spin-off of Naruto. It is directed by Masayuki Kōda and written by Masaya Honda.
On March 23rd, 2017 when the last episode of Naruto aired, fans were sad about the series getting ended after being a part of them for so long. And just when they were looking for a new show Boruto got aired just one month after on April 25th, 2017. It was a continuation of the story which was a retreat for Naruto fans. Boruto was said to be a retelling of the story that has already happened.
Recap to episode 255
Episode 255 of Boruto is titled ” A tricky Assignment”. It is the finale of the Fortunate War arc. The episode starts with Team 7 getting back from the hidden mist. Naruto appreciates them for a great job. Katasuke praised Boruto for risking his life to stop Ikada. Boruto tells Naruto to contact Chojuro as he doesn’t think Ikada is a villain. After this Boruto and Kawaki start to argue about their differing opinions on wars. Kawaki thinks Boruto is childish and doesn’t understand anything and so he leaves.
In the next scene, Naruto and Boruto are seen talking to each other and how they share things in common. Naruto says good about him and tells him to make things fine with Kawaki. Next, we see Buntan return to the mist while Kyoho decides to stay in the village of Kagura and protect it. They then say goodbye to each other and leave.
The scene then shifts to Mitsuke telling Kawaki that he knows that he is worried about Boruto but Kawaki tells him to shut up and leaves. We see Chojuro talk to Ikada about what will happen to him and Ikada says that he accepts his fate. Chojuro tells him that they have stopped the Shinonomi project and thanks to him for they got know about it by him. He then tells him that leads will be kept under surveillance or Kajiki.
The scene shifts to Boruto and Kawaki meeting on the way and getting into an argument and then they start to fight with each other. And after a while when they get tired Naruto invites all of them for a ramen treat.

Episode 256 of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generation series will get released on Sunday, July 3rd, 2022. The episode will air in Japan at 5:30 PM JST and Episode 257 with getting released by July 10th, 2022.
