Teaser for Netflix’s the Midnight Club Shows First Look at Titular Cast!!

The Midnight Club, Mike Flanagan’s new horror series based on Christopher Pike’s YA horror novel of the same name, has debuted its first teaser on Netflix. It is presently set to premiere on Friday, October 7th.

The trailer, which you can see alongside the key image below, provides us our first glance at the titular primary characters while also hinting at the series’ dark and eerie tone.

The Midnight Club is based on Christopher Pike’s 1994 novel set at Rotterdam Home, a hospice for terminally sick teens where a group of patients began to assemble at midnight to tell frightening experiences. The gang agrees that whomever dies first will communicate with the others from beyond the dead.

Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street films) will portray the character of an intriguing doctor who heads the hospice in the limited series. Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, William Chris Sumpter, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, and Sauriyan Sapkota will all star as “the titular club of terminally ill young people,” as will Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, William Chris Sumpter, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, and Sauriyan Sapkota. Zach Gilford, Iman Benson, Larsen Thompson, Matt Biedel, and Crystal are among the cast members.

Mike Flanagan, who is also the showrunner, conceived and executive produces the Midnight Club series. Leah Fong, Julia Bicknell, and Trevor Macy serve as executive producers.

After working together on The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass, this is Flanagan’s newest collaboration with Netflix. His sixth horror movie for the streaming service, The Fall of the House of Usher, is now in development.

We now have some exciting news to share with Mike Flanagan fans and those looking forward to his next series The Midnight Club, after years of suspense! Netflix released a teaser (with a video intro from the ever-charming, Flanagan-verse mainstay Rahul Kohli) and the show’s debut date as part of Geeked Week 2022.

It’s no surprise that Netflix will release this series in October, given Flanagan’s scariest episodes have always aired in the autumn. They’re the ideal technique to entice Halloween and horror enthusiasts to participate in the festivities and anticipate what’s to come.

This year, Netflix users will be able to view episodes like The Midnight Club, Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, and Wednesday!

The show depicts a group of seven terminally sick young people who live at the Rotterdam Home hospice, which is overseen by an enigmatic doctor. They get together at midnight every night to tell each other terrifying stories. The gang eventually agrees that whomever dies first must attempt to communicate with them from beyond the dead. Strange things begin to happen when the first one dies.
