One month prior to debut, the Pixel 6a can be found at Best Buy. It’s already an improvement over last year, when there was no outlet carrying the Pixel 5a.

The Google Pixel 6a was formally revealed at I/O 2022 last month, but it won’t be available until late July. It feels like we already know almost everything about the budget-friendly Pixel 6 model because Google revealed all the details at its annual developer conference. A landing page for the Pixel 6a is now active on Best Buy’s website ahead of its launch next month.

The Pixel 6a will be on sale for pre-order on July 21. Depending on where you live, outright sales could start a week later, despite the fact that the phone is listed as coming soon.

So why would you choose Best Buy over the Google Store to get your Pixel 6a? Well, to begin with, merchants like these occasionally run tempting specials. Additionally, users have a variety of carriers to pick from, and Best Buy will also offer the Pixel 6a unlocked.

All of the launch-day colours, including Chalk, Charcoal, and Sage, will be available from the store for the mid-ranger. Customers have the option of paying $449 in full up front or using Best Buy’s 12-month finance plan for $37.42/month. According to 9to5Google, the company’s website even has a banner put up for the Pixel 6a that appears when users search for terms like “Pixel 6a” or just “Pixel.”

Given the rather great sales performance of the Pixel 6, Best Buy should welcome the addition of the Pixel 6a to its shelves with some high expectations. At least, that’s what Google perceived, but the news appeared slightly differently on other carriers.

Google is aiming for the stars with the Pixel 6a, in contrast to some recent Pixel phones. Since a brand-new Pixel device hasn’t entered many important regions, particularly India, for more than two years, it’s obvious that Google has a lot on the line with its most recent mid-year Pixel upgrade.

The option to purchase the phone through T-Mobile or Verizon or unlocked is displayed on the store page. As anticipated, the addition of mmWave would increase the price of the Verizon model by $50. Before the Pixel 6a officially launches on July 21, we anticipate AT&T will also offer a carrier choice.

With Best Buy’s 12-month finance option, the Pixel 6a costs $449, or $37.42 per month, and is available in Charcoal, Chalk, and Sage. The Pixel 6a is listed as “trade-in eligible” on the store page(opens in new tab), but it isn’t made clear what kind of trade-in offers are available. The Pixel 6a, which costs just $449, will probably be given away if you have a valuable enough phone to trade in.

We’re confident that the Pixel 6a will be among the best available affordable Android smartphones. With 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, it will use the same Google Tensor chip as the Pixel 6. It will have a dual-rear camera arrangement and a 6.1-inch OLED display in addition to the same AI camera features like Real Tone and Magic Eraser that wowed us last year.
