Toyota’s Hyryder Is a Competitor to the Hyundai Creta as a Direct Alternative, Know Which Is Best?

In the coming months, Toyota Kirloskar Motor plans to launch a new model in India. D22 is the secret name of Toyota’s next small SUV. Toyota Hyryder is said to be the name, and will first appear in June. Releases will likely take place before the holiday season this year.

The SUV of tomorrow will be designed and manufactured jointly between Toyota and Suzuki. It will also be the company’s first product built in partnership with Suzuki. The name of the next SUV is yet to be announced by the car manufacturer. According to reports, it will now be known as the Toyota Hyryder.

The test trailer for the upcoming SUV has been spotted several times on Indian roads. However, the heavy camo ensured that the pieces of style remained hidden from the viewers’ eyes. In terms of style, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder will look everything like an SUV. It is coded with international codes such as D22 and will be based on DNGA formulation.

It is designed for specific markets, according to the manufacturer.

The 1.5L world-class Yaris Cross Hybrid engine will operate. It will have a powerful 59kWh engine and a battery pack. The total output power of the engine will be 114 bhp. While the petrol engine will produce 120Nm of torque, the electric engine will produce 141Nm. The hybrid powertrain of the Toyota Yaris Cross is said to save more than 26kmpl.

With two motors, it will be able to operate in mixed and clean EV modes. The 1.5L petrol engine will also be available in the new SUV. It will also be available with interchangeable gears and automatic. The Hyryder SUV will be built on the site of the TNGA platform, which has been made more localized.

Speaking of powertrain options, this Toyota-Maruti Suzuki offer will miss the oil burner. It is expected to be sold with a strong hybrid powertrain, which will work very well. The engine will be used here as a generator to add the juice to the battery pack, which will also power the electric motor. For the price, expect a mid-size SUV from two Japanese to cost about Rs 20 lakh per mixed avatar.

Toyota Bidadi Center near Bengaluru will produce the rumored Toyota Hyryder

Connected car technology, 360-degree camera, Head-Up Display (HUD), wireless smartphone charging, sunroof, wireless charging, digital equipment collection, etc. will be included in the new medium-sized SUV. It is also expected to install the ADAS package (an advanced driver program).

The new Hyryder SUV will look different from the Maruti Suzuki mid-size SUV, although it has been developed in partnership with Suzuki and both models will share the platform and design features. The powertrain, on the other hand, will remain unchanged.
