But that was before Netflix and the show’s producers, The Duffer Brothers, saw the show’s fantastic ensemble and the enthusiastic response from viewers. Nonetheless, the end is rapidly approaching.
Stranger Things season 4 has finally arrived on Netflix, after a long wait. Six months after the Battle of Starcourt, the citizens of Hawkins are dealing with being separated for the first time in the new edition. While this is going on, a new evil is threatening the lives of those who remain in the small Indiana town.
Stranger Things season 4 volume 1 is now available on Netflix, with seven episodes. Only the two episodes that makeup season 4 volume 2 and a fifth season are planned after that. In an open letter to fans before to the start of Season 4, Matt and Ross Duffer revealed their reasoning.
In the latest installment of the Duffer Brothers’ sci-fi horror series, the majority of the main cast returns. Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery are among those who have been cast in the film. Maya Hawke and Brett Gelman return as season 3’s Maya Hawke and Brett Gelman, respectively, while David Harbour reprises his role as Hopper after his apparent death at the end of the previous season. Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Quinn, and Eduardo Franco are among the newcomers this time around.
“We sketched out the entire plot arc for Stranger Things seven years ago,” the identical twins wrote. “We expected the story would endure four or five seasons at the time.” It was too big to tell in four parts, but — as you’ll soon see — we’re on our way to the finish line. Season 4 will be the penultimate season, followed by Season 5.”
The first episode of the fourth season of the Netflix blockbuster finishes on a superb cliffhanger, providing just enough answers while leaving viewers hungry for more. That’s because episodes 1-7 are only the beginning of this massive season, which runs “almost twice as long as any prior season,” according to the Duffer Brothers. We won’t have to wait nearly as long for the final, feature-length episodes, thankfully.
