Activision has begun mailing out invitation codes for their upcoming Warzone Mobile experience, which is now in Closed Alpha. If you’ve been invited, here’s how to take part in the test.
According to reports, Warzone Mobile Project Aurora is sending out invites for its next Closed Alpha test.
This new Call of Duty experience is being developed by Activision, particularly for mobile devices. A job posting on the Activision website was the first to expose it.
The mobile version of Call of Duty Warzone has reached closed alpha testing, according to Activision.
The publisher revealed the codename for the next mobile battle royale game, ‘Project Aurora,’ in the first of a series of planned updates throughout the development process.
Call of Duty Mobile is presently the only COD game available on mobile devices, but Activision is on track to release a Battle Royale-focused mobile game in the near future, with Alpha testing set to begin in a few weeks.
Players will be able to get their hands on Project Aurora for the first time with this Closed Alpha test.
When Warzone Mobile becomes completely available on mobile devices, there are reports that it will include a new version of Verdnask and Rebirth.
As Activision states in the invitation emails to test the Alpha version of the game, Project Aurora, also known as Warzone Mobile, is set to usher in a new era of mobile gaming.
Before being allowed to participate in the Warzone Mobile Closed Alpha Test, you must sign an NDA.
Activision is currently “in the thick” of the game’s initial playable test, which is exclusively available via invitation.
“With Project Aurora, the codename for our new mobile title, our mission is to unite friends, families, and people from all over the world in a global community of diverse players with a fast-paced, precise, and high-quality battle royale action experience that delivers a fresh new way to play,” Activision said.
“With the closed alpha, we hope to simply start improving tuning, stress testing matches, identifying and fixing issues, as well as collecting feedback and insights on all parts of the game as new features come online,” it added.
While Project Aurora is now invite-only, Activision has stated that “during the closed alpha phase and beyond,” it will “open things up and add more participants.”
According to a stolen image from Activision’s invitation email for Project Aurora’s Closed Alpha session, all invited players must sign an NDA promising not to publish photos or videos from the Alpha version of the game.
Players must sign the NDA and opt-in to participate in the closed alpha testing, which is expected to begin early next month, by clicking on a link at the bottom of the email.
Details on the Warzone Mobile Project Aurora Closed Alpha
A few lucky gamers have received invitations to Project Aurora’s upcoming June Closed Alpha through email.
There are a few important things concerning the impending Closed Alpha that players should be aware of. The Closed Alpha is only open to individuals who have received an invitation from Activision, and there is presently no way to sign up.
In the Closed Alpha, only a tiny portion of Warzone Mobile will be available. Throughout the closed alpha period, Project Aurora will be receiving updates. Participants in the Closed Alpha will not be allowed to share any information with anybody else.
Players will not have access to all features of the game during the limited alpha, according to Activision, but they will be required to answer a number of questions in several surveys to provide input to the development team. All of the things you’ll see throughout the test could change at any time.
While Activision’s latest blog stated that it is not yet ready to reveal the game’s name or release date, it has been reported that Call of Duty Warzone mobile will arrive in 2022.
According to Activision Blizzard’s latest annual report, released in April, Call of Duty Mobile has been downloaded over 650 million times since its introduction in October 2019. In 2021, the free-to-play game experienced a record year, according to the publisher, with customer spending “far above” $1 billion.
