A decade after the events of season 8 of Dexter, Dexter now lives in Iron Lake, New York, a quiet and icy hamlet. He’s given up his job as a crime scene investigator and now works as a quiet shopkeeper in a small town. However, Dexter is forced to go back in time as a new killer stalks the residents of Iron Lake.
Clyde Phillips, who moved away from the show after the first four seasons, is returning as showrunner in this new edition of Dexter. In addition to Phillips, John Lithgow will return to New Blood as the Trinity Killer, a character he played in season 4 of Dexter.
