Amber Heard Removed Confirmed from Aquaman 2? Johnny Depp’s career Dead Because of Her?

Her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, is currently suing her for an op-ed she wrote in 2018 on surviving domestic abuse.

Fans of Johnny Depp are eagerly anticipating the cancellation of Amber Heard: In the midst of the actor’s continuing defamation suit, a petition calling for her removal from “Aquaman 2” has surpassed 2 million signatures.

Over 3 million people have signed a petition to have Amber Heard removed from the upcoming Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

“Do what is right. Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2,” petition writer Jeanne Larson pleaded in the description of the 2020 Change.org petition. Fans hope that by collecting 3 million signatures, Heard will be barred from repeating her role as Princess Mera in the James Wan-directed superhero sequel, which wrapped filming in January.

Johnny Depp’s ongoing defamation trial against his ex-wife has reignited interest in the long-running petition, which was initiated in 2020.

She started the campaign because she says Depp, 58, “exposed Heard as a domestic abuser.” Larson stated that she did not want her alleged actions to be “glamorized” on tape.

Johnny Depp has exposed Amber Heard as a domestic abuser. Johnny Depp’s $50 million lawsuit details numerous incidences of domestic abuse by his (then) wife Amber Heard, including one event in which she punched him twice in the face and another in which she fractured his finger with a vodka bottle, necessitating surgical reattachment. He’ll be scarred for the rest of his life because of it.

Depp, 58, issuing Heard, 36, for defamation after she penned an op-ed for The Washington Post in 2018 about surviving domestic violence, but she never named Depp by name. The $50 million lawsuits was first filed by the Fantastic Beasts actor in March of this year.

Heard played Mera in the 2018 film Aquaman and will reprise her role in the sequel alongside Jason Momoa.

Heard has been “exposed as a domestic abuser by Johnny Depp,” according to the petition’s writer, referring to Depp’s lawsuit.

Heard has been systematically crusading to harm Johnny Depp’s career in Hollywood since their divorce, repeating several allegations of fabricated instances in which she had genuinely abused Johnny Depp but lied and created bogus accounts of him being the abuser. Heard provided a bogus account about cutting off Johnny Depp’s finger, dipping it in paint, and scrawling obscenities all over the walls during the incident during which she smashed the bones in his finger and nearly severed it, prompting Depp to require surgery to reconnect and heal it.

According to the petition, Heard has “systematically crusaded to ruin Depp’s career in Hollywood, repeating several accounts of fabricated instances in which she had genuinely assaulted Johnny Depp but lied and created bogus accounts of him being the abuser.”

It directly addresses Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, requesting that the actress be removed from the next Aquaman feature, which is planned to release next year. Warner Bros. did not immediately reply to a request for comment from PEOPLE.

Heard’s lawyer, Ben Rottenborn, claimed earlier this month that evidence will demonstrate she was subjected to domestic abuse by Depp that “took many forms,” including physical, emotional, mental, and psychological assault, as well as “sexual violence at the hands of Depp.” The charges are “fictitious,” according to a Depp spokeswoman.

Heard has not yet testified in this case.

Depp lost his widely publicized U.K. libel action against British newspaper The Sun for branding him a “wife-beater” in November 2020. The outlet’s accusations were found to be “basically truthful” by the court, and Heard testified to back up the claims. Depp’s effort to reverse the decision was rejected in March 2021.

Depp revealed in 2020 that he had agreed to leave the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trilogy after losing his libel case.

Depp rejected the allegations, and the couple reached an out-of-court settlement in August 2016. (it was finalized in January 2017).

She’ll be scarred for life because he has no choice but to have surgery on his finger as well now due to this beating from her (Amber).
