93-year-old Legendary Actress Rosmarie Trapp Is Dead. She Played Maria Von Trapp

Rosmarie Trapp, whose Austrian family the von Trapps was made popular in the melodic and adored film “The Sound of Music,” has passed on.

She passed on Friday at 93 years old at a nursing home in Morrisville, Vermont, Trapp Family Lodge declared. Her sibling Johannes is the leader of the Stowe resort.

“The Sound of Music,” depended freely on a 1949 book by Maria von Trapp. Georg von Trapp and his most memorable spouse, Agathe Whitehead von Trapp, had seven youngsters. After his most memorable spouse passed on, Georg wedded Maria, who showed the youngsters music.
