Today, You May Watch as SpaceX Launches a 40-satellite Rideshare Rocket to Space.

The space action will begin Friday with a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This event, if successful and weather permits it – which seems likely- could mark the tallest satellite ever launched by an American company! The 40 satellites being carried embarked on their journey into orbit for various customers across Earth’s surface; they’re going everywhere from GPS networks used to track cars down to food delivery services Hope you Tune In For This Historic Launch Event

SpaceX’s forecast for a successful launch is currently just 30%. The company typically reuses their rockets, so it will be interesting to see if they can make good use of this one too!

The Falcon 9’s first stage is already a veteran of six launches and landings if the mission goes according to plan. After launching from Cape Canaveral on Friday morning at 8:05 am EST (13:05 GMT), it will return shortly after takeoff for an automated landing in the Atlantic Ocean as part of SpaceX’s reusable launch system tests – just one step towards their ultimate goal which would be sending humans into deep space once again!

Less than 24 hours after SpaceX’s launch, a Rocket Lab Electron vehicle is now scheduled to loft two Earth-observing satellites for the American company BlackSky at 8:10 am EDT (1210 GMT) from their New Zealand site.

Rocket Lab originally planned to launch its mission on Friday, but they announced a flight delay late Thursday.

“The weather is looking promising for a launch on Friday, April 2nd.”

Rocket Lab’s latest mission is set to bring the company closer to its goal of delivering 112 satellites into orbit. The Electron launch vehicle they are using for this flight has already been tested successfully on four other occasions, making it an ideal choice in light of its success so far!

Rocket Lab’s plans to make the first stage of their two-stage Electron reusable is an impressive feat. They’ve already landed boosters on several previous missions and will continue this practice for “Without Mission a Beat,” but there are no splashdowns or recoveries in-store; instead, all focus has been shifted toward getting customer satellites into orbit as quickly and efficiently as possible.

This weekend, space fans can look forward to two major launches. Friday marks the start of NASA’s Artemis 1 mission which will use an uncrewed Orion capsule around our moon using a huge Space Launch System (SLS) rocket; while Saturday sees another important event in history as Russia takes its first-ever journey beyond Earth-moon distance with FOXLAIR 5!

With a wet dress rehearsal coming up, members of the Artemis 1 team are going through many procedures to be prepared for launch. They will likely start this process as early as May or June if all goes well with testing and their pre-launch plans go accordingly!
