New Multitasking Functions, Popover Applications, Studio Mode, and Other Features Are Shown in the Ipados 16 Concepts.

After just a few weeks, Apple will announce the first public beta of iPadOS 16 at the WWDC 2022 keynote address. Even though we know very little about the forthcoming iPad operating system, people are still hoping for an upgraded version that is tailored to the needs of professionals.

Given that Apple will be releasing two iPad models that use the same CPU as the Mac, a sketch envisions how Apple would ultimately overhaul iPadOS with version 16.0.

Parker Ortolani gave a few suggestions on how Apple might enhance iPadOS 16 on his Twitter account. Apple, according to the designer, will take “multitasking to a whole new level” by allowing users to run up to four applications simultaneously.

Safari, Mail, and Maps can help you plan the ideal vacation. Keynotes, Pages, and Numbers are the tools you’ll need to create that fantastic presentation. “This is an iPad as you’ve never seen it before.”

Aside from the App Library seen in iPadOS 15, iPadOS 16 will have a Mission Control, which would allow users to arrange open app windows into piles of cards for quicker access and, for the first time, launch new app windows with a touch, similar to how iOS 15 does.

One of the more innovative concepts to come out of this notion is Popover Apps, which would allow apps to be launched in a free-floating window rather than taking up a bigger portion of the screen.

When it comes to the iPad’s 16 Home Screen and Dock, Parker proposes the radical concept of allowing you to add your favourite music and podcasts as well as books, programmes, files, and more directly to your home screen or dock, similar to how you can do it on macOS.

Finally, but certainly not least, Parker envisions a new Studio Mode that would finally remedy the horrible experience of using an iPad with an external monitor, which has been a source of contention for years.

Users would get a whole new desktop experience if they connected an iPad Air or iPad Pro running iPadOS 16 to an external display or used AirPlay to connect to a computer.

You may view Parker’s whole idea by following the link in the tweet provided below. View our prior iPadOS 16 notions here, as well as Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman’s demand for a “pro mode” in the forthcoming iPad operating system, which can be found here.

Parker envisions an enhanced version of Split View that can be accessed by dragging and dropping programmes or by utilising the multitasking menu in this design. Users will be able to make use of more applications in a variety of ways as a result of the new app layouts.
