Know What Is the Hidden in This Show ,directed by Andy Serkis: George Orwell’s Animated Adaptation of “Animal Farm”

The film adaptation of George Orwell’s famous novel.

George Orwell’s 1945 novella Animal Farm is probably one of the most memorable ones you studied in school, and an animated version of this dystopian tale is now under development.

It has been confirmed by Deadline that Andy Serkis and his studio The Imaginarium will helm the animated picture for Aniventure. Nick Stoller will pen the script, and he and Adam Nagle will serve as the film’s producers.

“A gang of farm animals that rebel against their human owner, in hopes of building a society where they may be equal, free, and happy” is the premise of the novel.

A timeless tale, it was chosen as one of Time Magazine’s top 100 English-language books produced between 1923 and 2005 for good reason. Retrospective Hugo Awards were also given to Orwell for Animal Farm.

Aniventure and Cinesite have “finally rewarded” Serkis’s “difficult path” to adapt an “amazing narrative,” he added, via the Hollywood Reporter.

As a team, we want to make George Orwell’s timeless masterwork accessible to audiences of all ages, both intellectually and emotionally. This is a story not only for us but for future generations as well.

Since Animal Farm was released in 1945 by George Orwell, “the narrative has stayed relevant and an important tool in understanding how the world works,” said Nagle. “Andy’s had a distinct ability for creating unique and memorable characters throughout his incredible career,” he concluded, “and we’re happy to be collaborating with him, Jonathan, and Cinesite to adapt Animal Farm for current audiences.”

It’s fascinating to learn that Serkis will be behind the camera for this specific rendition of Animal Farm, even though it’s been done numerous times before. For years, Serkis was best known for his appearances in films like Lord of the Rings, Avatar, and Planet of the Apes.

However, he has also become an accomplished filmmaker in the last few years. As a director, Serkis’ work on Breathe, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, and Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been impressive. In light of Serkis’ history in motion capture, it will be intriguing to see the director’s take on animation in this picture.

It doesn’t matter how you slice it, this Animal Farm sequel is building out to be a must-see animated feature. The screenplays he’s written for blockbuster animated films like Storks and Captain Underpants put him on the map as a successful screenwriter alongside Serkis.
