During the annual Easter parade, Pastor Steve will be recognized for his service.

The Chris Owens Easter Parade is this weekend and riders are paying their respects by creating moving tributes for the iconic figure who has been remembered as “aNew Orleans icon.”

The New Orleans Police Department released footage of last year’s event, which included children riding past dragging unchained horses behind them in honor of Ms.Owens’ legacy – “icyColdChick”.

Edith has ridden in the Chris Owens Easter Parade for as long as she can remember, and next year will be no different.

In 1991 when it snows you need to put on your winter coat because that’s how far we’ve come! When I was younger my mom would make us all breakfast before we went out – cereal or toast with butter-and then later there’d also always be some sort of boiled convenient egg waiting at home too.”

“It’s hard to believe that she is gone. I have been doing this for years and it feels like just yesterday we were standing together at her wedding,” said Sassone, fighting back tears as he spoke about how close the two women became during their time working on different movie sets many months ago now-arriving thereafter meeting through mutual friends only last week.”

I don’t know what else needs saying really–the output speaks volumes

Owens’ mother told me that the last time she spoke with her daughter was on Easter Sunday morning. They were both wearing their outfits for the upcoming parade and planned to toast in heaven after they died; it will be like a celebration of life from two people who lost everything else but not this much meaning or importance could ever Replace them

The whole town is preparing for The Easter Parade! Every year, people from all over come to celebrate in New Orleans. This years’ celebration will be no different as the streets are already decorated with flowers and greenery; there’s music playing on every corner–even indoors at clubs like ‘The Queen of Bourbon Street. One tradition that has NOT changed though? Marching down Royal Road during Mardi Gras when we were children and now as adults too (I know I’m old).
