Recently Pamela Anderson announced that she is ready to express her side of the story. The documentary will be launched on Netflix. Pamela is well-aware of the spotlight but after the Hulu mini-series “Pam and Tommy”, now she is going to share her side of the story with the world.
Bywithch star Pamela who is 54 right now is taking her story to Netflix, Hulu’s giant competitor. In a press meeting on Wednesday, a Netflix official announced, ” Pamela Anderson is ready to tell her story in a new documentary”. They also said that this film which has been in making for several years will showcase the pop culture icon setting the record straight as she looks back on her professional path and her personal life journey. en
Pamela posted a note on her Instagram page about this new documentary. The note said, ” A thousand imperfections, a million misperceptions…I can only surprise you….not a victim but a survivor and alive to tell the story.” She ended the note with her signature and left a kiss print at the bottom.
The film will be directed by The Keeper’s director Ryan White and the movie is produced by one of Pamela’s sons Brandon Thomas Lee.
In Hulu short web series, “Pamela and Tom” the scandal of Pamela and Tom is recreated without Pamela’s involvement in the show. The show is based on a 2014 article about the sex tape that was released without their knowledge. The sex tape was leaked by a servant who was fired from their home. It was a disaster for Pamela and her ex-husband Tom. Their most intimate moment was available for people to watch. This was a traumatized incident for Anderson. As per Entertainment Weekly’s report, the makers of the show tried to contact Anderson but she never replied. Lily James who plays Anderson in the series said, ” we tried to reach her during the development of the show, but we never get a response.”
Now Anderson will share her side of the story through a different platform about the sex tape and its impact on her. The release date of the show is not confirmed yet but fans are eagerly waiting for it. We hope Netflix will announce the date soon.
