The post-credit scene in The Batman has finally been solved as Warner Bros releases deleted footage that places Robert Pattinson’s Dark Knight and Barry Keoghan’s Joker front and center.
The theatrical cut of The Joker limited Keoghan’s interactions with the Riddler to just one scene in Arkham Asylum. However, this new morsel implies that he has an established history within David Aakeens’ universe and may even have had some sort of complicated relationship past their time spent together as wonderful men before turning onto darker paths where death awaits them all…
The film’s theatrical cut limited Keoghan’s Joker to a single interaction with the Riddler in Arkham Asylum, leaving plenty of room for audience imagination. But this new morsel implies that he already has an established history and complicated relationship with his iconic superhero half – which will surely be explored even further in upcoming films!
Barry Keoghan as the Joker in Deleted scene?
The fans were not disappointed with this scene. It portrayed how Batman made a visit to the Joker in order to find out what other intentions Riddler has, which led to drastic changes happening at some point during their adventure together – something they had been waiting for quite some time!
Matt Reeves, the director of Batman said that Joker was found to be an unknown personality in Arkham Asylum. He also mentioned over time how he has some tricks up his sleeve which could turn out bad for our favorite Caped Crusader and this is definitely not good news!
“I want to know how he thinks,” says Batman.
“You know exactly how he thinks… have you read his file?” counters Joker.
“You two actually have so much in common.”
