Pokémon Legends: Arceus ushers in a new era for the franchise. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is often compared to this more open-world design. Overall, critics and users have given this game high marks, calling it one of the finest RPGs available on Nintendo Switch.
For a multitude of reasons, Pokemon Legends: Arceus differs from the regular Pokemon games. It has a new gaming system and a much more engaging universe. Even though it is set in old Sinnoh, the Hisui town’s new trainer starters aren’t Chimchar, Piplup, and Turtwig. Trainers will instead choose Cyndaquil, Rowlet, or Oshawott as their first Pokemon.
Trainers can only opt for one Starter Pokemon, as in every other Pokemon game. Trainers can obtain the other two starters in Pokemon Legends: Arceus without having to compromise with another player. Completing the main plot is required before receiving the Hisui Starters. Following that, there are two ways for obtaining the Starter Pokemon.
Space-Time Distortions
Cyndaquil, Oshawott, and Rowlet are all Pokemon found solely in Space-Time Distortions. Trainers may also discover their evolutions inside these aberrations.
The Space-Time Distortions that appear across the Hisui area are a brand-new element in the Pokemon universe. Rare Pokemon can be found in these distortions. The Hisuin Starter Pokemon aren’t the only ones who are exclusively found in the Space-Time Distortions. As a result, regardless of where distortions appear, it’s always a good idea to look for them.
Space-Time After Kleavor is vanquished, distortions will begin to develop. Trainers will be advised of distortions via a notice at the top of their display once this target is reached. Distortions may last anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, giving you plenty of time to collect the scattered Pokemon and stuff.
Starter Pokemon may be found in the following distortions:
- Coronet Highlands (Rowlet, Dartrix, Decidueye)
- Crimson Mirelands (Cyndaquil, Quilava, Typhlosion)
- Alabaster Icelands (Oshawott, Dewott, Samurott)
Achieving a strong Research Level or finishing Research activities is the greatest technique to make Space-Time Distortions appear. Because the Pokemon found in the distortions are strong, bring a robust team or stay away from undesired Pokemon.
Jubilife Village
After finishing the game, the next and simpler way to obtain the Starter Pokemon is to visit Jubilife Village. The remaining two Starters may be obtained by speaking with Professor Laverton in the Galaxy Building.
Trainers will be unable to obtain all 3 Hisui Starters without beating the game because these are the only methods to obtain Rowlet, Cyndaquil, or Oshawott. Meaning they’ll have to exchange Pokemon with other trainers to receive any one of the Starters they didn’t pick before the postgame.
