According to earlier leaks, The Pixel wristwatch has long been rumored to be in the works at Google, however, it has never really arrived. According to some reports, Google is working on a watch called the Pixel Watch, which is expected to be on sale shortly.

The Google Pixel Watch is reportedly codenamed “Rohan,” according to a recent story. Some say that the Pixel Watch title has not yet been verified. However, it states that the Pixel Watch would be available in the first quarter of 2022.

The Pixel 6 series was intended to be accompanied by Google’s first  Pixel wristwatch. However, unlike the previously reported timetables, this one never came to fruition. According to a recent report from Insider, Google is expected to debut its fabled Pixel Watch in the first quarter of 2022.
Even though the wristwatch is referred to as “Rohan” in the report, the Pixel Watch name has not been confirmed by this source. According to reports, Google’s Pixel hardware department is working on “Rohan” independently of Fitbit. If you haven’t heard, Fitbit was bought by Google for $2.1 billion earlier this year.
On the left-hand side of the gadget, there lies a circular knob that looks a lot like the crown on Apple’s Watch. However, it’s feasible that Google may add some other functionality, such as navigating around the UI, to this knob.
Step counter, as well as Heart rate tracking, are also visible. Earlier this year, Google sent out a poll to all of its users, asking for their thoughts on potential Wear OS additions. The poll suggested features like sleep apnea detection, SPO2 (oxygenation) tracking, heartbeat alerts, sleep analysis, stress tracking, recovery time monitoring, and more.
According to reports, Samsung may have developed a custom-built processor for the Pixel Watch. The processor might be a modified version of the Exynos W920 seen in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 as well as Galaxy Watch 4 Classic models.
We might see the aforementioned Pixel Watch powered by the newest Snapdragon Wear 4100+. SoC if the in-house chipset isn’t available. It’s a 1.7GHz quad-core SoC built using a 12 nm manufacturing technology.
Wear OS 3 should be available for the Google Pixel by the end of the year. Google and Samsung worked together to create this operating system, which combines the Wear OS and Tizen features. There is no doubt that Google’s Pixel Watch will be a high-end product that competes directly with Apple’s Watch. The price of the Pixel Watch has not been revealed. However, it is projected to be more expensive than any Fitbit Watch.
As a comparison, the Fitbit Sense retails at $299. (Roughly Rs 22,500). As a result, the Google Pixel Watch is expected to cost $349. ( Roughly Rs 26,300).
The Pixel Watch has Google aficionados giddy with excitement. You can’t argue with the facts. However, given the low commercial performance of Pixel smartphones to date, will Google truly succeed in the wearables market? We’ll just have to wait a few more weeks to find out.
