Thor: Love And Thunder Release Date, Trailer, Cast And Plot

A lot has transpired since The god of thunder was banished by Odin in the first Kenneth Branagh helmed movie, back in 2011. For many fans, Thor: Ragnarok remains one of the best Marvel Cinematic Universe films ever made, thanks to the humorous transformation that followed him to Thor Ragnarok.

Fans have been waiting for a brand new Thor movie ever since. The News about Thor Love & Thunder came out in 2019 during San Deigo Comic-Con. So, let’s see will the upcoming movie tiptoe to us or it will come pacing.

Here’s everything we know about Thor Love & Thunder.

Thor Love & Thunder Release Date

When the plans for Phase 4 were confirmed, the upcoming movie was scheduled to debut on November 5, 2021. The movie was pushed back because Black Widow was postponed, therefore the fourth Thor flick was shifted to February 18, 2022, as well. However, we were given some good news and the launch date was pushed back a week to February 11, 2022.

Thor Love and Thunder Trailer

Even though filming was completed in June of 2021, the movie won’t be released until the summer of 2022, so we probably won’t see any new footage until then.

Thor: Love And Thunder Plot Details

Waititi has claimed that the premise of the upcoming Thor: Love & Thunder is based on the series of comics titled The Mighty Thor. Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman are the brains behind the best-selling MCU comic series.

“That storyline is incredible is full of emotion, love, and thunder and introduces female Thor,” Watiti Said.

Portman appeared to affirm that Jane’s cancer plotline from the comics would be included in the film. “She’s going through cancer treatment and is a superhero on the side,” Natalie Explained.

The only thing director Taika Waititi has hinted at is the possibility of romance involving Thor and Jane, possibly rekindled. The film will also explore the past of crowd favorite Korg.

In addition, Thompson hinted that Valkyrie will restore Asgard and “re-investing in her people”, while Hemsworth has no idea what Thor has been up to since joining the Guardians: “At this point, he might be on the couch.”

James Gunn’s declaration that the events of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 took place after Thor: Love and Thunder complicates the subject, raising doubts such as when Thor departed the Guardians to embark on his journey. As far as we can tell, Thor will only mention it in Love and Thunder and make a brief appearance in the next Guardians of the Galaxy sequel.
