Logitech has been missing from the sim-racing world every since their last G920/G29 racing wheel’s in 2015. Since then, they have been working with sim drivers and professional race car drivers to develop an all-new realistic sim-racing experience for racing fans. The new Logitech G923 Racing Wheel from Logitech G brings a number of new features, subtle improvements, and a trick up its sleeve called TRUEFORCE.
The Logitech G923 Racing Wheel comes with a programmable dual-clutch launch control system. Just like how the launch control systems work in real cars, similarly, this allows sim-racers to launch a car from 0 to 100 real quick by maximizing traction and minimum tire smoke. To make the brake pedals feel more responsive, Logitech has made the Brake Pedals Progressive which should make it more responsive, realistic, and add control.
The Racing Wheel also comes with a built-in rev indicator that goes from green to red as you approach the redline, on-wheel game controls to navigate through the game menus. There is also a 24-point selection dial which allows the user to adjust torque, brake force, traction, and many other functions.
TRUEFORCE is an all-new revolutionary feature on the Logitech G923 and it’s the main highlight as well. TRUEFORCE has been developed over many years with feedback from sim-races and real race car drivers to get it to give as much of realistic driving experience as possible. TRUEFORCE is a proprietary force feedback system that uses actual game physics and audio in real-time. This should allow players to feel every bit of the road, tires, suspension, engine, etc. The TRUEFORCE system has the ability to directly communicate with the game engine and pull all sorts of data to give an experience never experienced before in sim-racing.
Game Developers will have to implement support for TRUEFORCE in their games to fully utilize its capabilities. Grid 2019, Assetta Corsa Competizione, and Gran Turismo Sport are the only three games that support TRUEFORCE as of right now but more games are expected to support this feature going forward.

The Logitech G923 Raching Wheel and Pedals will work with Xbox, PlayStation, & PC. There are are two variants, PC/PlayStation and PC/Xbox. The wheel is priced at $399 and is available to pre-order right now.
