We finally have more details on the upcoming Netflix series based on CDPR’s Witcher series. Here’s the official series poster, with a catchy tagline “The worst monsters are the ones we create“.
Netflix also published some official images, which give us a better look at Henry Cavill playing Geralt, along with other main side characters like Yennefer & Ciri.
Anya Chalotra is playing as Yennefer, while Princess Ciri is being portrayed by Freya Allan. Both actresses are relatively new in the industry, especially when you compare them to Henry Cavill, who has been in the field for a long while.
The cast has been traveling all across Eastern Europe for the shooting of the new series and looking at the images, it is looking really good. Henry Cavill is looking pretty impressive portraying Geral of Rivia, and so far, it is looking very promising.
The Witcher Netflix series is expected to launch somewhere in the fourth quarter of 2019. According to Netflix, the cast will be attending the San Diego Comic Con 2019, at a booth in Hall H, on July 29, 2019.
