Folks can’t get enough of Oppo’s new Reno smartphone. As we move deeper into April, leaks regarding the Oppo Reno have been emerging following the render leaks earlier this week. The new leak suggests the specifications of the new Oppo Reno, teasing what we could expect from the upcoming Oppo-branded behemoth.
Courtesy of Ishan Agarwal, the Oppo Reno is said to pack a Snadragon 855 SoC, 8GB RAM, 256GB of internal storage, an OLED display featuring a 93.1% screen-to-body ratio, and a rather behemoth size to go along with it. According to the leak, the Oppo Reno would be about 215g light and would be as thick as 9.3mm. Unfortunately, specifications regarding the cameras haven’t been leaked, but by the looks of it, it seems like the Reno may actually come in more than one variant.
Renders published yesterday of the Oppo Reno revealed what seemed to be of the alleged Oppo Reno featuring a dual-camera setup on its rear. However, new leaks and teasers have been suggesting the inclusion of a third box-shaped camera that would most probably be accommodating the 10x optical zoom camera.
So far, what we can do is speculate about the device. However, given how thick the device is and how heavy the device is, it would most probably come with a large battery not only to keep up with the competition but also to justify the thickness of the device. Let’s hope its 5000mAh. You know, you should hope for the best, right?
Oppo is expected to reveal the Oppo Reno next week on Wednesday, April the 10th. OnePlus 7, anyone?
