Oppo’s next flagship, dubbed as Reno, has been receiving a ton of attention lately. As Chinese brands battle out for the top spot, Oppo has announced its take on major breakthroughs by announcing that the Oppo Reno would feature 10x optical zoom on the back of the device.
Oppo Reno Renders Leak The Device’s Unique Design In Its Entirety
And while Oppo hasn’t been very specific regarding the details we could expect from the Reno, we could be looking at a potential flagship from Oppo to compete with the big guns of 2019. Renders courtesy of Ishan Agarwal via an unnamed Chinese commerce site emerged a while ago, leaking the design of the Oppo Reno in its entirety.
The renders reveal what seem to be a unique-looking device from the front and back, as well as a full-view display, lacking a notch up front in typical Oppo/Vivo fashion. Furthermore, the renders reveal some incredible color options that would be coming with the Oppo Reno with gradient-colored backs.
If the Oppo Reno is one of Oppo’s flagships for 2019, it would be incredible to see where Oppo moves forward, especially considering that the Oppo Find X lineup from last year seemed to be resurrecting Oppo’s inner-beast. The Oppo Reno would most probably feature the latest and greatest Snapdragon 855 SoC, around 8GB of memory, 256GB/512GB of internal storage, about a 4000mAh battery with Oppo’s in-house fast-charging technologies, and a whole lot more.
As the competition continues to heat up, it seems like Oppo’s Reno would be the device that would compete directly against Huawei’s P30 Pro that features 50x zoom and crazy low-light improvements. However, we’re particularly interested to see if Oppo takes that 10x zoom to the next level given that its optically zoomed at 10x rather than the 5x zoom on the P30 Pro.
Pricing so far hasn’t been leaked, although, given the bragging power Oppo currently has with the Oppo Reno, we wouldn’t be surprised to see if Oppo slaps the Oppo Reno with a $1000 price tag.
