Huawei’s anticipated upcoming smartphone, the Honor Magic 2, has been leaked online in all its glory. The leaks are in the form of press renders, which show the phone from all sides and in all colors. The leaks first appeared on vmall, which is Huawei’s own e-commerce platform in China. This solidifies the legibility of this leak, but still, take this with a grain of salt. Final designs may differ.

The Huawei Honor Magic 2 looks absolutely gorgeous in these press renders. With a motorized front-cam design like the Oppo Find X, the phone has very decent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is rumored to come with the Huawei’s latest and greatest Kirin 980 chipset, with 8GB RAM.
As for the display, its rumored to boast a huge 6.4″ AMOLED display. With these flagship-level specs, the phone does seem to have equally impressive build quality and camera performance. A triple-camera setup on the back is definitely going to squeeze out some sweet photos. The color options are very funky and beautiful, to say the least. Judging from these press renders, the Huawei Honor Magic 2 will come in three colors, i.e. Blue, Purple-ish and a modest grey.
As a consequence of the motorized front-camera setup, durability is often a big concern. The first smartphone to adopt this kind of setup, the Oppo Find X, did poorly in the durability department. Huawei does have a reputation for reliable smartphones, however, this type of design is a first for Huawei. We’ll have to wait and see how this phone pans out after it is announced and launched.
