PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is finally making its way onto the Xbox One. After its initial tease at E3 2017, the company hadn’t confirmed when the title would be making its way onto the Xbox One family of devices. The ever-so-popular title of 2017 has gained tremendous success on the PC with the title racking in a huge number of players that are active in the game. So far, the studio Bluehole has been very active in the PC community addressing a number issues and carving the hearts of its fan base.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is set to be a title that would push Xbox enthusiasts into the competitive arena with barely any form of aim assist. Additionally, the title would also take advantage of the power packed into the Xbox One X showcasing what the title itself and what the Xbox One X is capable of. And if Microsoft decides to remove the wall between PC and Xbox One players by allowing cross-multiplayer gameplay, it would take the hype to a whole new level introducing some excellent match-ups being a multiplayer-centric title. You could read our opinions about how we feel about PUBG if it enables cross-multiplayer between PC and Xbox One players. Afterall, Mike Ybarra did touch on the topic of how they would make cross-multiplayer gameplay fair between Xbox One and PC players.
Microsoft confirms that the title would be making its way to your local gaming stores by the 12th of December, 2017. While the game is still in its beta stages, the massive success that title has carved over its seven months of public release is without a doubt praiseworthy. This seems to be an excellent release schedule that has been strategically been placed by the folks over at Bluehole Studios. Not only would the title enjoy the massive holiday season sales, but would also enjoy massive support from those who have already picked up the Xbox One X.
Being a successful title on the PC, I can’t wait to see how PlayerUnknown’s Battleground performs on the Xbox One family of devices as well as how this may affect its player base over on the PC side of the community. Indeed an excellent title from Bluehole in the Battle-Royale genre.
PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is set to release on the Xbox One family of devices as a console exclusive for Microsoft. Whether the title would make it to Sony’s family of PlayStation 4 consoles remains a mystery. But for now, the title would be available on the Xbox One and PC.
